Thrifty Car Rental Expands Pass24 ^® Prepaid Toll System to Florida

Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 22, 2007:  Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG), the parent company of Thrifty Car Rental, today announced the expansion of Rent A Toll^® prepaid toll service in the state of Florida. Thrifty is already offering the service – branded “Pass24^®“– in Dallas, Houston and Denver.

“The Pass24 pre-paid toll service is a great time-saving option for our customers,” said Scott Anderson, senior executive vice president of corporate operations for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.  “Building on successful launches in Texas and Colorado, we are pleased to expand the convenience of Pass24 to our customers traveling the 680 miles of toll roads throughout the state of Florida. The $5.95 per day or $27.95 weekly fee in Florida includes all toll charges.”

Pass24 is currently offered at all Thrifty Car Rental locations in the Greater Orlando area, including locations at Orlando International Airport and Sanford International Airport. The service will continue to be rolled out at all Thrifty locations in Florida throughout the month of October. Ft.Lauderdale International Airport, Miami International Airport, West Palm Beach and Tampa International Airport will begin offering the service in the next few weeks. Customers who want to utilize Pass24 should request it at the time of rental. 

Pass24 allows drivers to use the SunPass^® Only and E-Pass^® Only express lanes on the Florida toll road system, bypassing the cash lanes and eliminating the need to carry exact change, and can be used with any class of vehicle rented.  Collection of tolls is tied to vehicle license plates and no electronic device is required. Video technology is used to capture images of the rental car as it passes through the toll facilities.
